Land and Buildings (Maximum fee of 3%)
Fees for other services such as joint venture, sale of company, property swaps, etc. (Maximum fee of 3%)
Chattels including Plant and Machinery (10 % of the proceeds)
Lettings/Rent
<= 3 Years: 1.25 month's rental
3-4 Years: 1.5 month's rental
4-5 Years: 1.75 month's rental
>5 Years: 1.75 month's rental
Taxes
Other charges can be monies for paying taxes. These taxes include SST (Sales and Service Tax) and Stamping Fee (Stamp Duty). The agency only collects on behalf of government, and it is not a professional fee.
Disbursement
In most cases, when the clients expect that the agency deals with:
Paper work, e.g. help in editing, printing out and getting it stamped as administrative tasks, *NOT coming out with the legal tenancy agreement – which is prepared by both landlord and tenant;
Running of errands, minor repairs;
Taking video and burning the video into CDs for inventory;
Arranging for cleaning;
Sorting out water and electric meter readings;
Talk to management office, etc.
these jobs are called “disbursement”.

Stamping LHDN

RM50.00 or 10% of the deficient duty, whichever is higher, if stamped within 3 months after the time for stamping;
RM100.00 or 20% of the deficient duty, whichever is higher, if stamped after 3 months from the time for stamping;
